We conclude our season with a celebration of English poetry. These choral settings by some of history’s most influential composers span from the Renaissance to present day.

Chamber Chorale Concert
Come hear our newest ensemble, the Monteverdi Chamber Chorale in concert!
This performance will feature Jesu, meine Freude by J.S. Bach and Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F Major.
Cabaret 2024: From the Page to the Stage
“From the Page to the Stage” will highlight musicals based on works of literature - novels, plays, memoirs - that inspired hit Broadway songs that have stood the test of time. We can’t wait to host you for an evening of dinner, music, and giving as we bring to life the stories that began on the page and wound up on the stage.
Dine with us as we feature the unique talents of Monteverdi’s singers and raise funds through a silent auction and cash and prize raffles to support the Monteverdi Chorale.
Holiday Concert
Mark your calendars to kick off the holiday season with Monteverdi Chorale! Bring your family and come ready to sing along as we present your favorite Christmas carols on this community holiday concert.
This concert will also host a donation drive of non-perishable foods and household items for the Hunger & Poverty Prevention Partnership of Portage County’s Mobile Pantry program. Donations of canned meals, personal hygiene products, and home essentials are encouraged.

CABARET 2023 | The Best of Broadway
A fabulous night of dinner, cabaret and Broadway’s favorite show tunes that feature our individual singers and small ensembles! An evening of great music, amazing food, and good friends... your Valentine’s weekend will be one to remember!
G.F. Handel's "The Messiah"
Monteverdi Chorale, under the Commission of CWSO and in conjunction with the Wausau Lyric Choir, presents G.F. Handel’s The Messiah for one performance only at 7:30 pm on Saturday, Dec. 10th, 2022. Located at Woodlands Church.
SPRING CONCERT | A Concert of American Composers
Join us as we celebrate American composers and their music! You’ll hear familiar folk songs, impactful spirituals, and inspiring music old and new, including Leonard Bernstein’s rousing Chichester Pslams.
Performance will last approximately 45-55 minutes. Join us for a fundraising social afterwards in Holy Spirit’s Spirit Hall! This after-performance-social will feature coffee and cookies with our Board of Directors, small group performances that would have been performed at Cabaret, high-value Silent Auction baskets, and a 50/50 raffle. Show your support for Monteverdi by helping us end our 2021-22 season with a BANG!

Join us as we celebrate American composers and their music! You’ll hear familiar folk songs, impactful spirituals, and inspiring music old and new, including Leonard Bernstein’s rousing Chichester Pslams.
Performance will last approximately 45-55 minutes. Join us for a social afterwards in St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall with light snacks and refreshments. This is your chance to meet our Board of Directors and visit with our choir members & staff! Have a chance to bid EARLY on Sunday’s Silent Auction items, and purchase 50/50 raffle tickets in support of Monteverdi’s 2021-22 season!
Saturday tickets will be good for Sunday’s performance, should you choose to participate in our Silent Auction. Keep your ticket instead of handing it to our ushers as you’re walking into the sanctuary.
